When today’s emerging artists appear with orchestras, they do more than perform at concerts. They teach, interact with audiences, and personalize the music - and they are increasingly vital to the presentation of classical music.

"Lindsay is everything we expected and more. She is a fantastic musician, yet a gracious and lovable collaborator. The Orchestra, myself and the staff truly enjoyed working with her and we made some great music. The house was almost completely packed both nights and she got standing ovation every time! What else can I say? I look forward to working with her again in the near future."- Bahman Saless, Musical Director of BCO

The women outnumber the men in the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, giving the classical group's string performances a very sweet edge. To add to that sweetness, the non-profit group also offers education and outreach programs to the Boulder community.
The BCO has only been in existence since 2004, but the group has already become the town's premier chamber group. Under the leadership of musical director Bahman Saless, the orchestra has come to the forefront of the local cultural scene by presenting classical pieces that aren't often heard in a chamber setting.
