Sharon Park


American violinist Sharon Park has captivated audiences across the country with her
vibrant performances as a soloist, recitalist, chamber and orchestral musician, and educator. Her command on the stage and passion for performance has led her to the stages of some of the most prestigious concert venues including Carnegie Hall, Zipper Hall, Jordan Hall and the Verona Arena in Italy. She has claimed top prizes at the Ekstrand Memorial Competition, Stradivarius International Violin Competition, ARTS Award by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and the Bronislaw Kaper Awards.

A devoted chamber musician, Ms.Park artfully weaves together her brilliance as a violin virtuoso with her passion for music education and community outreach. A founding member of the Lark Duo and frequent collaborator with friends and colleagues, Ms.Park has a passion for bringing world-class performances and music education into local communities, all while
providing support to the next generation of musicians. Holding an extensive interest for all aspects of the arts industry, Ms.Park combines her uncompromising integrity as a musician with her extensive experience in arts administration to present concerts that share a vision for bringing communities together through conversation and music.

Ms.Park currently performs with the Boulder Philharmonic, Central City Opera, Boulder
Bach Festival and Colorado Symphony, in addition to being the Music Curator at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder. Ms.Park holds degrees from New England Conservatory, The Juilliard
School and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado Boulder.
