Arturo Armellino

Italian Oboist, Pianist, and Conductor Arturo Armellino attended musical studies at the Conservatory of Naples, the Academy of Murgantina Morcone, the Spazio Musica in Orvieto, the Cooperative "Jacopone da Todi” in Perugia, the Universidad Internacional de la Rioja, Accademia Pescarese Pescara Abruzzo Italy, and at the University of Missouri’s School of Music.

His is Conductor of the Samnium Orchestra and the Young Orchestra of the Mozart Italia Association of Benevento.  As orchestra director and guest artist, Armellino has performed in The Roman Theatre, Teatro Calandra, Teatro Vittorio Emanuele, Auditorium Sant'Agostino (Benevento), St. Clare, Palazzo Bianco (NATO headquarters), Piazza Plebiscito (Naples), The Teatro Italia and Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, Vittorio Veneto Theatre, Aula Magna of the University of Molise (Italy), Aula Nervi and St. Peter's Basilica (Vatican City), Castle Hall Llahol (Prague), Teatro Municipal of Lima (Peru), Teatro Carlos Gomes of Praia da Victoria Azores (Portugual), The National Theatre of Barcelona Puerto La Crus (Venezuela), Theatre of the State TV Tirana (Albania), Opera Pazardijk (Bulgaria), and The Grand Theaters of Beijing, Nanchang, Pingxiang, Liuzhou, Nanning, Kunming, Yuxi, Jinan, Lishui, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Xiamen, Shaoxing, Tongxiang, Dalian (China).

The City Council of the Municipality of Solopaca has appointed him as artistic director of the Solopaca Flower Festival in Benevento Province, one of the most famous and most anticipated events of the Campania Region and famous throughout Italy. He is also principal conductor of Baohong Shanghai Culture Communication Company in collaboration with the Chinese Government.

Armellino is President of Mozarteum, Italy in collaboration with the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg - Austria, and professor of Execution and Interpretation at the Liceo Musicale G. Guacci of Benevento, and the Liceo Musicale “Carafa Giustiniani” Cerreto Sannita Campania, Italy.
