Boulder Chamber Orchestra seeks an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to be our new Executive Director. The ED oversees day to day operations of the organization including but not limited to:
Development & Fundraising
Marketing & Communications
BCO is looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of development and fundraising experience. The organization is growing and expanding and the ideal candidate will be able to maintain current progress and continue to increase and diversify incoming funding streams. This person must be reliable, outgoing, and ambitious and have the ability to work independently, at times with little direction or oversight. Preferred experience in perfroming arts, and familiarity with the Boulder Community. Strong project management skills are required.
2-3 years of experience in fundraising
At least 2 years of management experience in nonprofit
Experience in soliciting corporate, foundation, and individual gifts
Experience in working with a board and managing volunteers
1-2 years of marketing experience preferred
Experience with the following systems is required: Mailchimp, Vertical Response, Fundly CRM, Squarespace, QuickBooks
This is a contract position requiring 35-40 hours per week.
