The Boulder Chamber Orchestra recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusion and has been working to address it in an authentic and purposeful way. We know that we have a long way to go, but are actively looking at ways we can increase diversity and inclusion in our organization through our programming, our Board makeup, and our outreach.

For the orchestra achieving diversity means affirming the inclusion and involvement of a broad representation of our community, reflecting its true make-up, including race, ethnicity and cultural background, gender, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, disabilities, education, geography, and religion. The Orchestra pledges to:

  • Promote diversity within its board and staff; and

  • Ensure inclusive and diverse programming
