Introduction of Nadya's Wednesday Weeklys!

Hello BCO World!

This is my first opportunity to introduce myself: my name is Nadya Hill, and in mid-May of this year, I was hired to be your new Executive Director of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, and am excited and honored to have the opportunity to connect a wider audience with this fabulous ensemble!

We at the BCO are so thankful for previous Executive Director Courtney Huffman’s hard work, and wish her all the best in her new endeavors!

In order to start us all off on the right foot, I’m initiating a weekly blog post every (well, as “every” as is possible in the span of a year!) Wednesday. I’ll be writing about the goings-on at the orchestra, and any new fun partnerships and collaborations we begin.

THIS WEEK, I’d like to showcase the fabulously philanthropic Amy Long at “Nothing Bundt Cakes” in Boulder! Last year, Amy provided the orchestra with fabulous confections, and she has generously decided to amp up her involvement with us for the 2019-2020 Sweet Sixteen Season! Tuesday, September 17th will be BCO day at Amy’s store, and 50% OF ALL WALK-IN PURCHASES will be donated to the BCO! So come on in, get your cake on, and support your Boulder Chamber Orchestra!

Amy found out that I LOVE sunflowers and am allergic to wheat, and made me this FABULOUS gluten-free chocolate chip concoction! Seriously.. .go see her- she’s the best :-)
