California-native Soheil Nasseri has performed in some of the world’s most important concert halls including New York’s Metropolitan Opera House, Berlin’s Philharmonie, London’s Southbank Centre, Tokyo’s Musashino Center, Théâtre Fémina in Bordeaux, Florence’s Teatro Comunale, Palermo’s Teatro Massimo, St. Petersburg’s Philharmonia, Tehran’s Talar-e Vahdat, Bucharest’s Opera Nationala, and in dozens of American towns including 22 completely different solo recitals in New York City at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Kaufman Center. The New York Times writes: “This imaginative, technically assured pianist invariably finds something fresh to say about whatever music he has on his stand.” And the Berliner Zeitung: “We in the audience could not possibly have had more fun. Fantastic!” Soheil Nasseri studied privately with a number of great musicians, the most influential among whom is his long-time mentor Jerome Lowenthal. Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Claude Frank, and Irina Edelman each made significant contributions to his development.
