CSMTA Concerto Competition Winners' Concert
The Boulder Chamber Orchestra is proud to present the winners of the concerto competition for the Colorado State Music Teachers Association. Young musicians from across Colorado participate in the competition and winners are selected by a panel of professional musicians, including maestro Saless. This exciting concert will feature the winners of the competition as concerto soloists. BCO is proud to help launch the careers of these young musicians in Colorado

Pianist Hsing-ay Hsu and BCO members, Chas Barnard and Kellan Toohey will perform Trios for Piano, Clarinet and Cello.

Don’t miss Virtuosity where another Boulder star musician in Richard O’Neill performing two masterpieces for Viola and Strings by Telemann and Piazzolla. Virtuosity extends to the amazing strings of the orchestra in performance of Beethoven’s most modern and timeless creation, the Gross Fugue arranged from his Op. 130 Quartet. A concert not be missed!

Artist-in-residence pianist Hsing-ay Hsu and members of the orchestra will perform music by Bach, Mozart and Brahms.
The Subtle and the Indisputable!
Join us for an evening of music composed by masters of musical subtlety, Wagner and Sibelius and the Emperor of the indisputable heroism, Beethoven! Pianist Jennifer Hayghe will join the orchestra in performance Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto.

Holidays Celebration with Beethoven
We celebrate the holidays season and Beethoven’s Birthday in this special concert made to bring joy to fill the heart to the brim! The program includes Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with Adam Zukiewicz on the Piano, Maxime Goulet’s Chocolate Symphony played along with chocolate selections to enhance the musical experience.
Mini-Chamber 1 - Capturing the Folk Spirit
We are delighted to engage with our Artist-in-residence pianist Hsing-ay Hsu for three chamber concerts this season. In this first concert Hsing-ay and members of the orchestra will perform pieces by Brahms, Dvorak and Bartok.
Mozart Mass and More
The Boulder Chamber Orchestra joins its favorite choral partner the Boulder Chamber Chorale in performances of The Mozart Mass in C-Minor and the Boulder premier of Summation by Colorado composers Jim Klein and Ian Jamison.
Romance and Intrigue
BCO opens the season by teaming up with two special guests; Pianist Petar Klasan, performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C-Minor and Violinist Jubal Fulks, performing Dvorak’s unforgettable Romance for Violin and Orchestra. The concert ends with Mozart’s beloved Haffner Symphony, No. 35.
