Daniel Colbert is an accomplished concert violinist, first educated in Sarasota, Florida alongside members of the Sarasota Orchestra (formerly the Florida West Coast Symphony). Serving as concertmaster of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra for five seasons, Daniel continued studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, receiving a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Violin and Viola Performance. Following higher education, Daniel went on to become a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and subsequently Lyric Opera of Chicago. Since moving to Denver, Daniel has fostered an interest in music production and teaching while continuing to perform in classical ensembles along the front range.
